<description>Yes, we know that you love the original chocolate chip cookie recipe. But you have probably had it over and over again, making the same tried and true chocolate chip cookie recipe since you learned the fine art of baking. But, maybe it's time to bake outside the box and try a different cookie that will still satify your chocolate cravings? This chocolate chip cookie recipe turns out some very rich and chewy treats that we think you might even enjoy more than that age old chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Here's what you need:

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 12 oz packages
1/4 c butter
1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs
1 1/3 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 c walnuts, toasted and crushed
Whit chocolate, melted
Semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Lightly grease some cookie sheets.
Heat one pack of the semi-sweet chocolate pieces, the unsweetened chocolate, and the butter in a saucepan until melted.
Put this mixture to cool in a bowl.
MIx the flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix the eggs, sugar, and vanilla into the chocolate mixture and beat with an electric mixer.
Add the flour mixture and beat on low until it is mixed well.
Stir in the rest of the chocolate pieces and the nuts.
Drop the cookie dough by the 1/4 cupful onto lightly greased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart and then flatten them a bit.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until the edges are firm and the surface is dull and cracked. Let them stand on the cookie sheet for a few minutes then transfer them to a rack to cool.
Drizzle with the melted white and semi-sweet chocolate.

Good luck with this chocolate chip cookie recipe and buon appetito!
